When editing staff information, there are a few points that need to be made clear in order to capture data.

Fields and their meanings

Start Date: The start date indicates to ADAM when the teacher started teaching at the school. This is an important date because if it is set in the future, the teacher will not be able to log in to ADAM until that date.
End Date: This date indicates to ADAM when the teacher stopped teaching at the school. A teacher will not be able to access ADAM from the date indicated. Normally, this date should be set for the day after the teacher is due to leave.
