Each criterion is based on either a single or multiple subjects. There are currently four conditions that can be used to evaluate the promotion criterion.

Conditions

  • Average of the indicated subjects is at least (y)%: In this condition, the results of the indicated subjects (or those that the pupil takes of those subjects) is found. If it is below (y)% (as entered in the Minimum value (y) field), then the pupil will not be eligible for this promotion result.
  • Average of at least (x) subject is at least (y)%: In this condition, the results of the indicated subjects (or those that the pupil takes of those subjects) is found. If the number of subjects used to calculate the average is less than the minimum number required (as indicated by the Number of subjects (x) field) or if the average itself is less than the minimum required, the pupil will not be eligible for this promotion result.
  • Average of top (x) subjects is at least (y)%: In this condition, the average from the top ranked subjects from the listed subjects (or those that the pupil takes of those subjects) is found. The top ranked subjects are based on each pupil's individual achievements.
  • Count (x) of the indicated subjects are at least at (y)%: In this condition, there must be a minimum number of subjects from those listed and for which the pupil is registered in which the pupil has achieved the minimum result.

Quantity and value fields

The remaining two fields indicate the minimum number of subjects required and the marks that need to be achieved.

  • In the case of the first condition (Average of the indicated subjects is at least (y)%), the Number of subjects (x) field is ignored entirely and its value has no impact on the condition.
  • In each of the conditions, the Minimum value (y) selection box requires a value to be entered.
