Help:Promotion results (edit)
From ADAM - Academic Data Management for Schools
This screen allows you to make changes to a promotions result.
Fields
- Description: Give a name that will be used internally by ADAM. Since promotion results can share a common result (such as Promoted), this will allow you to differentiate them. Examples could include Promoted (Grade 8) or Condoned (Grades 10 - 12).
- Priority allows you to select an approximate position for your new promotions result. Please note that this option will always default to "Evaluate First" and so checking your promotion results is always strongly advised.
- Select the appropriate Grades from the list using "Ctrl" and your mouse to click on multiple options. If you need to deselect something, hold down "Ctrl" and click on it.
- The Result is the comment that will be used on report printing and in academic analysis reports. This should be entered, then, as it should be printed. Examples of suitable entries include Promoted or CONDONED. The capitalisation depends on your requirements.
Saving the promotion result
When you click on the "save" button at the bottom of the form, you will be taken to a screen that shows the current set of criteria for this particular promotion result.
This list can now be edited, or users can follow the link at the top of the page back to the promotions results list.
